Adhesives play a fundamental role in many modern technologies, and adhesive failure can have catastrophic consequences. In packing industry, adhesive is used as an ancillary material. Different types of adhesives are designed for a large variety of applications. Some have very weak strength for holding papers in place, others are so strong that they can used for bonding cars and airplanes. There is no one adhesive that is suitable to all applications. It is, therefore, valuable to understand the factors important for the production of a good durable adhesive bond.

In Wireless Sensor network (WSN) the energy consumed by the sensor network determines the wireless sensor network lifetime and battery backup which effect lifetime of sensor node and nodes are alive more time. LEACH is a hierarchical routing protocol special for wireless network .LEACH due to randomness property CH selection and any sensor node become cluster head. More number of cluster in sensing reduce cluster size and energy consumption of nodes and cluster also data transfer between cluster head and base station. Stability is fail to maintain in system. The purpose is to increase the alive time of nodes for more data transfer among BS and CH without failure of any node. In improved LEACH protocol, after clusters are established, each cluster head decides whether to select a new cluster head, based on their energy consumption. The new cluster head will be the node having more residual energy. Thus, those clusters with less load can avoid the energy consumption resulted in selecting cluster head frequently. A homogeneous sensor network consists of identical nodes, while a heterogeneous sensor network consists of two or more types of nodes organized into hierarchical clusters

Reproducing correct colours in printing has been a point of strong concern among printers. Matching colour with original is the need of hour. But small difference in colour is always in the tolerance limit. ∆ E in offset printing process should be less than 2 as per standards. But in the digital printing no much research has been introduced regarding colour difference (∆ E). Objective of this paper is to find out ∆E in dry toner based digital printing on gloss coated paper. A master test chart was prepared using various tint patches, high quality test images and quality control strip produced using i1 basic pro. The test chart was printed in Digital Print Application Laboratory, Department of Printing Technology, GJUS&T, Hisar on Richo India Ltd. Digital Printing Press. The results indicated that ∆ E in dry toner based digital printing is comparable to sheet-fed offset printing on gloss grade coated paper stock.

Objective of this review paper is to investigate various advantages and disadvantages of offset printing as well as digital printing technology and growth of both of the printing technologies. Offset printing is a printing method used for the highest of quality printing pieces like brochures, pocket folders and booklets. This process is recommended for jobs with quantities over 2000. Once you get below that quantity it is not economical to use this type of process. If you are getting a quote for offset printing, make sure that you get the quote for multiple quantities. What you will find is that usually the cost does not increase that much as your quantity increases since the cost for setup is the same no matter how many pieces you run. So the more you run the cheaper the cost will be per piece. Whereas Digital printing is recommended for low volume pieces and is ideal for flyers, brochures, postcards and small posters with a max size of 12”x18”. With digital printing you can easily get a quick proof on the actual stock and a more cost effective price for low quantity jobs. This allows you as the customer to order just a few copies and still get a great quality finished product.

Print Quality has been a point of strong attention among printer among India also it is highly sensitive point of debate among foreign printers. Objective of this research project work is to compare various quality control parameters in Dry Toner and Liquid Toner based digital printing presses available in local market. A master test chart was prepared having various elements such i.e. Colour Control Strip, CMYK- Solid Patches, G.J.U. logo as Graphic, Halftone images, Tint patches of different colours. The test chart was printed on Art Coated paper with the help of Dry Toner and Liquid Toner based digital printing presses available in local market. The test chart was analyzed to check the print quality with Spectrophotometer. The result indicated that Solid Ink Density was more in Black colour in Dry Toner based digital printing technique. Print Contrast was more in Magenta in Liquid Toner based digital printing technique. Dot Gain was maximum in Black colour in Dry Toner based digital printing.

While it's perhaps un-PC if not unfair to characterize certain packaging as dumb, there are a number of packages that can be characterized as smart without hesitation. Smart packaging provides enhanced functionality that can be divided into two submarkets: Active packaging, which provides functionality such as moisture control, and intelligent packaging, which incorporates features that indicate status or communicate product changes and other information. It's a growing segment: According to a report from Freedonia, demand for active and intelligent packaging in the is forecast to expand 8.0 percent annually to $3.5 billion in 2017, well above total packaging demand growth. The report identifies food and beverages as the two largest markets for smart packaging in 2012, and projects that pharmaceuticals will be the fastest growing active and intelligent packaging market through 2017, with opportunities driven by the health care needs of the aging population. Advances in printed electronics or functional printing are boosting the potential opportunities for smart packaging by lowering costs. Printed electronics start-up Thin Film Electronics announced in October that it has built the world's first self-contained, integrated electronic tag system made using printed electronics.

In the modern era, digital printing has been dominating printing process to print on variety of paper substrates. Electrophotography is one of the commonly used technology or method in digital printing process. The emerging trends in the field of digital printing take over the position of traditional printing processes which requires the scrutiny of the print quality parameters. The total digital controlling of the printing process gives a hypothesis of achieving the consistent print quality in all prints. This article is scrutinizing that hypothesis by conducting the instrumental (Techkon Spectro Dens Premium spectrophotometer) measurement of colorimetric and densitometric tonal values and quality parameters of the print on coated and uncoated paper which is printed on daily basis. The results show that the Delta E (colour variation) is higher in uncoated papers as compared to the coated prints. Solid ink density and print contrast of black colour has better consistency on uncoated paper and print contrast of all colours on coated are also subjected to the variations. The solid ink density of yellow colour on coated paper shows highest densitometric value consistency.

Images are an important form of data and are used in almost every application. Some applications cannot use images directly due to the large amount of memory space needed to store these images. One of the most critical decision points in the design of a face recognition system is the choice of an appropriate face representation. Effective feature descriptors are expected to convey sufficient invariant and non-redundant facial information. Motion information is used to find the moving regions and probable eye region blobs are extracted by thresholding the image. These blobs reduce the search space for face verification which is done by template matching. Experimental results for face detection show good performance even across orientation and pose variation to a certain extent. The face recognition is carried out by cumulatively summing up the Euclidean distance between the test face images and the stored database, which shows good discrimination for true and false subjects. As human face is a dynamic object having high degree of variability in its appearance, that makes face detection a difficult problem in computer vision. In this field, accuracy and speed of identification is a main issue. The goal of this paper is to evaluate various face detection and recognition methods, provide complete solution for image based face detection and recognition with higher accuracy, better response rate as an initial step for video surveillance. Solution is proposed based on performed tests on various face rich databases in terms of subjects, pose, emotions, race and light.

The print quality is more and more importance in the printing industry due to high degree of automation, competition and ISO certification of product and systems. The quality can be analysed in visual and instrument basis. If the quality is analysed visually, then it is the analysis of print consistency and if the quality is analysed instrumentally, then it is the analysis of quality consistency. Here the quality of the print is considered using a densitometer. Three quality parameters are considered here and the relationship between them are analysed. The result shows that the SID increases the Dot Gain and Print Contrast is also Increases and vice versa. But this relationship varies little higher and lower level as compared colour to colour. The practical experiment does not shows absolute relationship between as in the mathematical manner

The Indian paperboard packaging industry is growing at a rapid rate. Paperboard carton packaging is the need of the hour. Packaging is the science, art, and technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale and use. Paperboard packaging found wherever goods are produced, distributed, marketed and used. Folding box board is one of the important types of paperboard which used in packaging. The used of folding boxboard carton is widespread because of the ability of this packaging format to satisfy the function of protection, utility, and motivation. Folding box board packaging are found in many places, such as supermarkets, traditional street market, shops and departmental stores as well as for mail order, fast food, dispensing machines, hospital, military, education and sport. These product packages attract the customer if the printing done on these package in good condition. Printing plays an important role in making the Folding box carton attractive. If any problem found related to printing it gives the bed effect on product package sales. These problems produce due to substrate, machine and improper working system, etc. With the help of this study it is found that the folding boxboard waste can be reduced if take great care on all these. The good printing quality attracts the customer and helps in increasing the sales of product.

At the same time ISO has standards related with Graphic Technology by committee Technical Committee 130 vide No. 12647-4 for Gravure Printing. Finally we come to say ISO standards for Gravure Printing are respected and followed by all the countries and by all organisations having desired to produce global standards.

Print mottle is considered as one of the most important print factors while considering the visual impression of print quality. It is basically the result of uneven ink layer/non-uniform ink absorption across the paper surface and it is more prominently visible in middle tone images or areas of uniform colour such as solids and continuous tone screen images. Mottle pictures can also be observed visually and hence it needs utmost care and attention for enhancing the final print quality. Various grades of papers are used in the digital printing machines for a wide variety of print products and for the high quality print products coated papers are generally used. Effect of mottle on coated paper especially when using digital printing machines is the basic point which needs discussion and deliberation.

In the present investigation, two varieties viz. DH-5 and DH-36 of Coriandrum sativum leaves were assayed for their phytochemical profile using different solvents and at different temperature namely, water, hot water(100oC) and methanol. These extracts were also evaluated for antibacterial activity by well diffusion method. The results revealed that among the two varieties; variety DH-5 contained higher, flavonoids, chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b contents in comparison to variety DH-36. Amongst the different extracts, methanol extract of both varieties contained highest flavonoids content. The antibacterial activities of different solvent were tested against the bacterial strains Micrococcus luteus (Gram-positive) and Escherichia coli (Gram negative) by observing the zone of inhibition. The methanol extract of Coriandrum sativum leaves extracts of variety DH-5 showed more activity against E.coli, zone of diameter 18.21 ± 0.35 mm, water extract showed more activity against E.coli (16.40 ± 0.70 mm) and methanol extract of variety DH-36 showed more activity against E.coli (15.23± 0.10 mm), water extract showed more activity against E.coli (14.38 ± 0.86 mm) .

Carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are allotropes of carbon. Carbon nanotubes are of two types: (SWCNTs) Single-walled carbon nanotubes and (MWCNTs) Multiple-walled carbon nanotubes. Carbon nanotubes exhibit high electrical, structural and mechanical properties. These properties make them highly promising for the construction of new functional materials. Synthesis of MWCNT's was done by Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) method. The MWCNT's was characterised by Zeta potential, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Further MWCNT's was acid treated (H2SO4:HNO3) for their functionalization. The functionalized MWCNT's was characterised by Zeta potential and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The Zeta potential of MWCNT's and functionalized MWCNT's reveals that the stability of MWCNT's increases after functionalisation i.e. -23.5mV to -35.2mV. TEM and SEM explains the tube structure of carbon nanotubes, size and there agglomeration properties. Carbon nanotubes tends to form bundles, hence their stability is low. FTIR shows the types of chemical bonds present in functionalised MWCNT's.

For the screening of Trypanosoma evansi in buffaloes in and around Hisar, a total of 400 blood samples were collected from 7 blocks of Hisar district. Screening of sera from these samples by mAb-LAT indicated 95 (23.7%), 101 (25.2%), 84 (21.0%), 38 (9.5%) and 82 (20.5 %) samples as strong, moderate, weak, suspected and negative, respectively. Highest prevalence was observed in females and buffaloes above 8 years of age as per mAb-LAT.

Electronic journals have now become the indispensable source of information for the researchers working in Research and other Institutes of Higher Learning. In the present scenario, no library can cater to the informational requirements of its users without the accessibility of electronic journals. Since the databases of electronic journals are very costly, there is need to evaluate the usage. The present study is an attempt to review the usage of Emerald databases of electronic journals. Month-wise usage of data from the year 2011 to 2015 have been compared with regard to articles downloaded. Journal of Intellectual Capital, Personnel Review, European Journal of Marketing, British Food Journal, and Employee Relations: The International Journal have been found the highly used 5 Journals. The study reports that 53781 articles have been downloaded during the spell of five years and more than 52% articles have been downloaded amongst first 32 journals. The usage is unfortunately decreased after the year 2012 and there is dire need of marketing the database and making the users aware. The suggestions for improving the usage level have been discussed.

Ticks are widely distributed in most of regions of the world in tropical and subtropical regions including India. Hyalomma anatolicum are the commonest tick species in India infesting cattle and buffaloes and cause significant economic losses to diary and leather industries by adversely affecting the milk production and quality of hides. Synthetic pyrethroid (deltamethrin) and formamidine (amitraz) have been used to control Hyalomma anatolicum in most part of Hisar, Haryana. Which result in development of resistance against both the acaricides. Collection of the ticks were done from different gaushalas around Hisar, Haryana. Then these ticks were subjected to adult immersion test with a discriminating dose (AITDD) against deltamethrin and amitraz. Results revealed high degree of resistance against Deltamethrin 76.6% and 93.3% in R.(B.) microplus and Hyalomma anatolicum ticks of Gurana and Mangali region respectively. Which may be due to long time exposure to pyrethroids or may be due to inappropriate application of deltamethrin in tick infestation. In case of amitraz prevalence of resistance is low in comparison with deltamethrin, which was 23.3% in R.(B.) microplus ticks collected from Gurana region.

Groundwater resources In Iran and many other countries which have similar climate are among the most important sources of water used in agriculture and as potable water. On the other hand, the lower contamination risk of these resources than the other methods of water extraction has boomed the use of such resources even in areas where the shortage of surface water is not felt. This research aims to map the spatial zoning of quantitative parameters including the surface and depth of groundwater and qualitative parameters including EC, TDS, pH, Cl-, SO4--, Na+, No3 and to evaluate the changes of those parameters during the study period (since water year of 2003-2004 to 2012-2013). Multi-facility location problem (Multi Facility location Problem), single-facility location problem is similar with the difference that multi facilitates is considered optimum location. This problem with location allocation problem (location allocation problem) also known.In fact, each customer may have a probability to go shopping centers, so the problem allocation of location LAP research, customer demands and places as considered probable. Dot gain, solid ink density and print contrast are important parameters in every printing process. The main objective of this paper is to study of solid ink density, dot gain and print contrast while printing on Dry Toner based Digital Press on uncoated, gloss coated and matte coated paper. All paper tests were carried out in Avantha Centre for Industrial Research and Development, Yamuna Nagar. A test master was prepared by using various quality control elements (high resolution images). All above the three varieties of papers were printed on Digital Printing Press in Digital Print Application Laboratory, Department of Printing Technology (G.J.U S&T, HISAR). The solid ink density, dot gain and print contrast were measured using spectro- densitometer available in Department of Printing Technology. The result indicated the variation in dot gain, solid ink density and print contrast while print on a dry toner based digital press.

This study aims to explain the relationship of IT and innovation with competitive advantage. The study population included 160 employees Ghavamin Bank Shiraz. The Packaging pouch industries have shown a substantial growth in the last decade because of the conversion of rigid and semi-rigid packaging into flexible packaging methods. Flexible packaging pouches are gradually replacing rigid packages on store shelves and retail markets. Flexible packaging pouches can be used to store food and non-food products. It has led to many inventions in the field of packaging pouches. Zipper is one of the most demandable features provided in the packaging pouches. Zipper feature came into existence due to concept of reusability; one of the most demanded characteristic by customers. Flexible zipper pouches are beneficial to the customers because it provides safety, convenience, consistent high quality and beneficial for trade purposes because of space saving, shelf appearance, aesthetics and reduced packages. Zippered plastic pouches that can be securely closed and reopened are particularly popular due to their ability to maintain freshness of food stored in the pouches and to minimize or eliminate leakage out of pouch. In Wireless Sensor network (WSN) the energy consumed by the cluster head and other nodes for communicate to each other. Due to randomness property in cluster head selection, any sensor node can become cluster head and also form uneven sized cluster. The communication in WSN is made between CH and BS for data transfer. A large a number of sensor is effective for gathering the data in Varity of environment and sensed data is gathered and transfer to the base station for further processing to meet end user queries. In large size cluster, member nodes need more energy for data transmission. More number of clusters in sensing field reduces the cluster size as well as energy consumption of cluster members. It can increase data transmission from cluster head to base station (Inter cluster communication) that consumes lot of energy in the larger area network. A homogeneous sensor network consists of identical nodes, while a heterogeneous sensor network consists of two or more types of nodes organized into hierarchical clusters The network characteristics of existing classical clustering protocols for wireless sensor network are homogeneous. Clustering protocols fail to maintain the stability of the system, especially when nodes are heterogeneous. LEACH use Homogenous or heterogeneous sensor network and find the cost complexity .Simulation result using MATLAB are shows that the proposed Leach heterogeneous system significantly reduce energy consumption and increase total lifetime of wireless sensor network but the cost complexity is increases compared to homogenous LEACH protocol this show using some factors like magnitude, phase response, filter Information, round noise spectrum etc

The range of angles of separation varies between 0° to 180° Experiments show that coefficient of pressure decreases with increases the separation angle and attain a lowest value, and then increases with an increase in the separation angle.

The inks used have to have a very high performance and be very resistant to environmental conditions such as sunlight, heat, moisture, etc. Ink features are of utmost importance like Colour Choice, Fluorescent Inks, Metallic Inks, Metameric Inks, Magnetic Inks, Optically Variable Inks, and Colour Changing Inks etc. etc. Substrate Features : The choice of substrate is very important as it has to be a very durable material resistant to tearing, withstanding crumpling and stable to environmental effects such as humidity. In a bid to overcome the menace of fake Indian currency notes, the Government has started giving serious thought to printing currency notes on polymer, a practice prevalent in Australia. The purpose of this study, the use of silver nanoparticles for the removal of E.coli bacteria as an indicator of pollution of water resources of drinking water in the system is Batch.This research is an experimental study to evaluate changes in pH, contact time, temperature, concentration of E.coli bacteria have been removed much of global nanoparticles. After removal of E.coli studies using silver nanoparticles with the effect of pH, temperature, contact time and the concentration is 100 percent.The effect of concentration on the removal of Ecoli of water, 500 ppm (0.5ml) silver nanoparticles to an optimal retention time of 1 day,the optimum temperature of 37 ° C and pH 8.5 considered optimal, the complete removal of water contaminated with E.coli bacteria was observed.

According to WHO survey anemia is one of the most commonly encountered medical deficiency during pregnancy WHO (2001). Here Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based diagnosis model is propose to determine the prospect for the anemia in pregnant will trained by using Back propagation (BP) algorithm and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Algorithms will simulate using Python and their performance has been evaluated using accuracy factor. The performance comparison helps to determine the best model for diagnosis of anemia in pregnant ladies. This paper discusses a proposed system offering a decentralized biometric solution for identification based on IoT. The proposed solution offers portability, energy efficient design, a distributed secure finger template storage mechanism and an encrypted channel for wireless network communication. The key feature is that the biometric data is preserved and the operations are performed on a unique ID. The biometric system based authentication offer several advantages over the traditional methods such as the convenience over password memorization, protection against user impersonation and user repudiation but despite the advantages these systems are vulnerable to attacks and poses security risks. The key feature is that the biometric data is preserved and the operations are performed on a unique ID. Hence system offers less vulnerability.

Carton is the name of certain types of containers typically made from paperboard which is also sometimes known as cardboard. Many types of cartons are used in packaging. Sometimes a carton is also called a box. Cartons can be made from many materials: paperboard, various plastics or a composite. Some are "food grade" for direct contact with foods. Many cartons are made out of a single piece of paperboard. Depending on the need, this paperboard can be waxed or coated with polyethylene to form a moisture barrier. This may serve to contain a liquid product or keep a powder. Prepress is the term used in the printing and publishing industries for the processes and procedures that occur between the creation of a print layout and the final printing. The prepress procedure includes the manufacture of a printing plate, image carrier or form, ready for mounting on a printing press, as well as the adjustment of images and texts or the creation of a high-quality print file. In today's prepress shop, the form of delivery from the customer is usually electronic, either a PDF or application files created from such programs as Adobe in Design or QuarkXPress. Press sections in packaging industry cover all the operation occurs between prepress and post press section. The Cross Layer Design approach is a requirement of current scenario of ad Hoc network and WSN due to its infrastructure less and hostile nature. All the nodes in WSN cooperatively maintain the connectivity. Although layered architectures have served well for wired networks, but they are not suitable for wireless networks. Today wireless network is doing well with advantages like flexibility, mobility, cheaper and faster deployment, easier maintenance and upgrade procedures. So, Exploiting the dependencies and interactions between layers has been shown to increase performance of wireless networking. The concept is known as Cross Layer Design. Printing is the largest industry of India after auto-parts. Printing is an art of duplication. Many of the solvents, shellacs and driers employed in Printing & Packaging presses for producing films, printing plates and cleaning the machines are toxic pollutants that can cause chronic health problems. We use a wide range of potentially hazardous chemicals, require energy, and generate wastes, the cumulative impact of which can be substantial, affecting air, water, and land. Paper production costs forests, water, and energy supplies. White paper is bleached via a chlorination process that releases dangerous chemicals and pollutants into the water. Petro inks can cause lasting damage to the environment, leaching volatile organic compounds (VOC's) which can cause cancer and birth defects into the ground, contaminating soil, groundwater and evaporation in the air. Adhesives, bindings, used in printing and packaging can render the final product unrecyclable, virtually guaranteeing that it will end up in a landfill. Controlling the emission of VOC's is an important part of pollution reducing strategies which can be done by incorporating different types of incinerators. But since incinerator causes pollution and requires lots of fossil fuels, choosing the right product for printing operation is very important. Paper recycling is the process of recovering waste paper fiber and remaking it into new paper products which saves landfill space, energy and prevents air pollution by means of saving trees. We do have alternatives like ECF, PCF & TCF Papers. Instead of using conventional petro inks, vegetable oil inks (e.g. Soy ink) which are low in VOC's and bio-degradable can be a very good substitution.

UV Flexo inks are becoming increasingly popular in flexible packaging .The ever-increasing improvements in UV Flexo inks such as print quality; low ink maintenance requirements, no solvents, high press stability, and in-line finishing have all contributed to converters' decisions to switch to UV Flexo system. Recently, new UV flexo ink systems have improved efficiency and production. Hence, many substrates are coated with a primer to perform as adhesion promoter. Nevertheless, this additional coating are not always successful, increase cost to the convertor and typically do not mitigate the migrating effect of lubricating additives found within certain flexible packaging films. This paper will detail, in the absence of adhesion promoters, the effects of corona, flame or atmospheric plasma surface treatments on the adhesion of UV flexo inks to flexible packaging films Flexo printing first came onto the market in the 1960's and began as a relatively simple and low-tech printing method and today it has become a state-of-the-art printing method, requiring high-tech printing inks to achieve high-quality printing results UV flexographic ink system that provides excellent light fastness on a wide range of plastic materials for outdoor use. The ultraviolet (UV) curing process is mainly determined by the desired application of coating. The intended end-product governs the substrate to be coated. The targeted properties like high-gloss hardness, flexibility, and resistance against chemicals or scratches have to be provided by the chemical formulations consisting of base resins, diluents, photoinitiators, and various additives. An appropriate selection of the components has to be done to enable an effective curing process; for instance, in coating containing pigments or UV light stabilizers, the special absorbance of the photoinitator has to be adjusted to a spectral region where the pigments or UV absorbers are fairly transparent. This fine tuning is necessary to match the characteristics of the lamp system with the chemistry of the coating to provide an economic curing process. Besides the physical properties of the cured material to be obtained, the economics of the coating process is the most important variable that decides the type of coating used. Thus , to calculate the total costs of a coating process, not only materials costs but the whole process design and the equipment set-up have to be considered to compare different coating processes.

Moreover world is facing a great threat of global warming and climate change and if necessary steps to control the pollution and waste are not undertaken today, the day is not far when we will have to face the calamities caused by over motherThe Earth. Printers, like many other businesses accumulate waste. The waste come from a variety of activities-such as plate making, image processing, printing and finishing-and differs according to the type of printing processes used. To reduce wastes, packaging businesses will need to focus on waste management rather than waste disposal. This paper illustrates and explains the techniques used for the waste management in the printing and packaging industry. This will require a shift in attitudes and practices with an emphasis on preventing and reducing rather than on treating and disposing of wastes. Whatever the nature and characteristics of the waste may be, it all has one thing in common: all waste represent loss of resources and money. Printing and Packaging industry utilizes paper and paper boards to prepare packages for various products. The recycled fiber is a secondary raw material for producing paper and paper boards to be utilized in packaging. The fibers get degraded in each cycle of recycling and after 4-6 cycles of recycling the fibers get too short to make a paper. Manufacturing of paper itself emits a lot of VOC and then printing of paper with offset lithography, gravure and flexography adds up in the emission. Land filling of organic material has no future, most organic material requires burning of material to reduce its volume. This uses heat value and contributes to self supporting incineration.

The flavor and colour of a food product have significant impacts on consumer acceptability. Micro wave food packaging has a tremendous element in the food manufacturing process. The motive of any food packaging regulations concerned with the safety of the food is to control the migration of substrances from the packaging into the food. There are mainly three different micro waving packaging materials which are the most common material in the market e.g. polystyrene (PS), Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethyleneterphtahate (PET) migrated into Four food stimulant solutions. Four different solution were used based on the food type. These food stimulants include vegetable pure oil, aqueous acetic acid, ethanol and olive oil in the temperature of 100◦C. Head space gas chromatography with mass spectro materic detection was used to determine the relative migration value from packaging materials in to food by putting the materials into contact with stimulants for 10 days in temperature of 5◦C.

As the shelf life of the unpacked dairy products are very short the only way to protect their hygiene and keep them safe from various environmental, microbiological, handling and transportation hazards is packaging. Parameters of analysis of socio-economic impact were social, education, health, environment and production level which were further divided into sub categories. More than 40% respondents of studied area agree that there was a positive change in their economic, production and social level due to RGTPP. Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has always been the dominating technology serving an array of solutions including civil, defense and industrial monitoring, control and decision purposes. Routing decides for the communication to be effective or non effective depending upon the energy saving while transferring data packets to the sink. There are two modes of network; heterogeneous and homogeneous. Heterogeneous network has focused mostly on the cluster head selection. Sink mobility in the heterogeneous network has not been touched much, it is observed it makes the network much energy efficient. The optimization in the network leads to the stability of network at much higher level. In this paper, sink mobility is optimized using Honey Bee Optimization (HBO) technique in the network by considering the parameters of energy and distance. The stability period of the proposed protocol has enhanced to 33 % by covering 2928 rounds as compared to 2033 rounds of the iMBEENISH protocol. The network lifetime has enhanced to 15000 rounds as compared to 14084 rounds of iMBEENISH protocol. It accounts to the 6% improvement by proposed protocol.

In the modern era of Printing Technology, currency printing is the abstract of all printing applications. Most of the banknotes employ four types of printing processes namely Lithography, Intaglio, Letterpress, and Silk Screen Printing. Ink Features: All the inks used in bank note printing offer a certain amount of security because they are not commercially available and hence not available to would be counterfeiters. The inks used have to have a very high performance and be very resistant to environmental conditions such as sunlight, heat, moisture, etc. Ink features are of utmost importance like Colour Choice, Fluorescent Inks, Metallic Inks, Metameric Inks, Magnetic Inks, Optically Variable Inks, and Colour Changing Inks etc. etc. Substrate Features: The choice of substrate is very important as it has to be a very durable material resistant to tearing, withstanding crumpling and stable to environmental effects such as humidity. In a bid to overcome the menace of fake Indian currency notes, the Government has started giving serious thought to printing currency notes on polymer, a practice prevalent in Australia. "Australian notes are more secure against counterfeiting". Some of the substrate features are Paper Features, Watermark, and Threads. Design Features: Many of the design features are built around precision printing that can be achieved by the highly specialised presses used in the production of bank notes. Currency notes were always counterfeited in the world irrespective of several security and legal features. The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of primer coat on Solid Ink Density of metalized sheets printed with dry toner based Digital Printing. The results showed that there is high impact of primer coat on solid ink density of metalized sheets printed with dry toner based Digital Printing process. The solid ink density of metalized boards printed with dry toner based digital printing process was found slight higher in primer coated boards then the solid ink density of non primer coated boards.

Corrugated fiberboard boxes are very important for dispatching the item from supplier to consumer. The finished goods are packed and then dispatch to the customer and hence CFC is very important parameter to transport the finished cartons to the final user without any damage to the inside cartons .Corrugated is a rigid shipping and packaging medium that can be cut and folded into an infinite variety of shapes and sizes even allowing direct print with high resolution graphics. Corrugated offers almost unlimited possible combinations of board types, flute sizes, paperweights, adhesive types, treatments and coatings. Strength of the corrugated board is an indispensable factor without which the core concept of packaging is lost and in addition brings a huge loss of resources to the supplier. Corrugated Board is engineered for stackability. This paper is focused on studying and analyzing the strength properties of CFC boards so that appropriate measures could be taken to improve the strength. Corrugated fiber boards are tested for the strength properties through bursting strength and compression strength and the results have been utilized in better selection of the corrugated board which not only avoid overpricing but are also more durable.

This paper throws light on identification of different printing processes on the basis of print edges itself. A number of print samples were collected and with the help of 60-X zoom microscope the edges were enlarged. The identification and characterization of different printing process was done on the basis of enlarged print edges.

This research is concern with paper and ink interactions related to inkjet printing. The main purpose of this research is to a deeper understanding in which parameters control the flow of ink into papers and what will be the ink interaction with the paper surface here we have to find key parameters to optimize the print-quality in inkjet printing. The characterization of paper surface in term of porosity, surface roughness and surface energy. How the ink interaction with the paper light microscope imaging and SEM is used. A high speed camera is used to study the absorption of pricolitre sized inkjet droplet into fine papers. The research is done to see how surface fixation can affect the print quality for printout made with pigmented ink. The surface fixation increases the retention of the pigmented colorant in outermost surface layer of the paper. The applying colorant fixation onto a paper surface before printing can increase the detail reproduction in a printed image. In inkjet printing fat absorption of the carrier liquid into paper and fast fixation is necessary to avoid colour to colour bleeding. It is important to understand which papermeters affect the absorption process to control the mechanism and to optimized the print quality. A study of absorption of picolitre size inkjet droplets into fine paper was made in this research paper.

The Packaging pouch industries have shown a substantial growth in the last decade because of the conversion of rigid and semi-rigid packaging into flexible packaging methods. Flexible packaging pouches are gradually replacing rigid packages on store shelves and retail markets. Flexible packaging pouches can be used to store food and non-food products. It has led to many inventions in the field of packaging pouches. Zipper is one of the most demandable features provided in the packaging pouches. Zipper feature came into existence due to concept of reusability; one of the most demanded characteristic by customers. Flexible zipper pouches are beneficial to the customers because it provides safety, convenience, consistent high quality and beneficial for trade purposes because of space saving, shelf appearance, aesthetics and reduced packages. Zippered plastic pouches that can be securely closed and reopened are particularly popular due to their ability to maintain freshness of food stored in the pouches and to minimize or eliminate leakage out of pouch. With the help of this study it is found that zipper feature can be provided very easily in the flexible packaging pouches and zipper pouches satisfies the various demands of customers and suppliers.

This research paper throws light on comparison of rub resistance on sheet fed offset on coated gloss paper printed with UV & conventional inks. To test the rub resistance & MEK some sheets were printed on art paper having line images, half tones and solid images with both UV & conventional inks. The samples were tested using digital scuff tester. The results indicated that UV inks printing has more rub resistance compared to conventional in through sheet fed offset.

Folding box board packaging are found in many places, such as supermarkets, traditional street market, shops and departmental stores as well as for mail order, fast food, dispensing machines, hospital, military, education and sport. These product packages attract the customer if the printing done on these package in good condition. Printing plays an important role in making the Folding box carton attractive. If any problem found related to printing it gives the bed effect on product package sales. These problems produce due to substrate, machine and improper working system, etc. With the help of this study it is found that the folding boxboard waste can be reduced if take great care on all these. The good printing quality attracts the customer and helps in increasing the sales of product.

Packaging is the science, art and technology of enclosing or protecting products for distribution, storage, sale and use. Carton is the name of certain types of containers typically made from paperboard which is also sometimes known as cardboard. Many types of cartons are used in packaging. Sometimes a carton is also called a box. Cartons can be made from many materials: paperboard, various plastics or a composite. Some are "food grade" for direct contact with foods. Many cartons are made out of a single piece of paperboard. Depending on the need, this paperboard can be waxed or coated with polyethylene to form a moisture barrier. This may serve to contain a liquid product or keep a powder. Prepress is the term used in the printing and publishing industries for the processes and procedures that occur between the creation of a print layout and the final printing. The prepress procedure includes the manufacture of a printing plate, image carrier or form, ready for mounting on a printing press, as well as the adjustment of images and texts or the creation of a high-quality print file. In today's prepress shop, the form of delivery from the customer is usually electronic, either a PDF or application files created from such programs as Adobe in Design or QuarkXPress. Press sections in packaging industry cover all the operation occurs between prepress and post press section. We use different verities of board for printing, high quality of ink by which we print and different printing process to print. Postpress is a crucial part of any printing process even though it takes place after the actual printing, since it determines the final look, shape and feel of your printed product.

A novel finite element capable of arbitrary cracking in solids under coupled thermo mechanical loading has been formulated and implemented into the commercial software package ABAQUS as a user-defined element. The thermal-mechanical augmented finite element method (TM-AFEM) is an extension of the Augmented Finite Element Method (AFEM) which includes temperature degrees of freedom (DoFs) so steady-state or transient temperature evolution and their direct effects on fracture processes in solids can be explicitly considered. The formulation incorporates a thermo-mechanical cohesive zone model (TMCZM) to account for load and heat transfer across the intra-element weak and strong discontinuities (i.e., material interfaces & cracks). A novel condensing method is used to express the internal DoFs, both mechanical and thermal, as explicit functions of the external DoFs. It has been demonstrated through several numerical examples that, the TM-AFEM can provide a general framework for realistic simulation of thermal fracture problems both at single elemental level and at structural level. The advantages of the TM-AFEM include: (1) arbitrary crack initiation and propagation without a priori knowledge of the crack path; (2) greatly improved numerical efficiency as compared to similar advanced methods such as XFEM or PNM because the TM-AFEM does not need extra external DoFs for crack evolution; and (3) the capability of accounting for multiple, complex crack evolution and interactions.

Casting process is an important process for fabricating industrial parts that dates back to 4000 B.C., i.e., when man used this method for the production of jewelry, spearhead made of copper, and other tools that the process has rapidly developed in recent years. Casting process is classified to various types, such as die-casting, centrifugal casting, sand casting, permanent mold casting, and investment casting. Generally, the casting process is feeding molten metal into the cavity of the desired shape in a mold, followed by cooling of the molten and solid physical production. However, the main difference between these processes is different procedures for making a mold. In this thesis, regarding the importance of investment casting in producing complex parts with high dimensional accuracy, this process was investigated. Firstly, the aim of the project was thorough introduction of investment casting, design and construction of pattern, and production of a part by casting using various shell thickness parameters. The aim of this study was to investigate the microstructure, mechanical and metallurgical properties of aluminum A356 in investment casting. In this research, the sample was designed in CATIA software with two different shell thicknesses and the investment casting process was simulated by Pro Cast. The simulation showed that the more the thickness of the ceramic shell is, the mold cavity is filled at a slower rate. After mechanical tests on samples, the results showed that the part which has been produced in the ceramic mold with higher thickness has more internal defects, because the high thickness of ceramic shell does not allow gases to exit through the pores of the ceramic mold. The trapped air causes the mold cavity. Therefore, it was concluded that in order to produce higher-quality parts, the minimum thickness of the ceramic shell should be used. However, it should not be considered to the extent that doesn't have sufficient resistance against heat.

The present paper reviews on the basic noise control system i.e. feedforward system and feedback system. In applications of active noise control, the cancelling signal is generated electronically and introduced into the system using transducers such as loudspeakers that convert the electronic signal to sound. In many cases, the physical mechanism responsible for the reduction of the unwanted noise is a little more subtle than mere cancellation. In cases where cancellation is the only control mechanism, the noise level may be reduced at some locations, but will be increased at others so that the total energy of the unwanted noise and the cancelling sound is conserved.
