The selection of illuminants will effect the colorimetric measurements in prints. Spectrophotometer can be use to measure colors in numerical values. Today the color measurements are carried out in CIE L* a* b* which is the most accurate color space as compared to other color spaces. Here three illuminants are selected for color measurements. They are D50, D65 and illuminant A. The black color variation is very less under the illuminants D50, D65 and illuminant A and not visible to the human eye at close observation. The cyan color is highly subjected to the color variation then magenta and yellow (Except under D50 and D65) respectively. The solid color patches shows the higher color variation under the different light sources and the certain tint patches are acceptable especially up to 30% tint patches.

A two-dimensional model of equations for a homogeneous, isotropic, thermally and perfectly conducting elastic medium is established under the purview of dual-phase-lag thermoelasticity theory with diffusion. By using normal mode analysis, the analytical expressions for the displacement components, stresses, concentration and temperature field are obtained in the physical domain. Finally. these expressions are calculated numerically for a copper-like material and depicted graphically to observe the effects of phase lags and diffusion. Moreover, some particular cases of interest have been deduced from the present investigation. The datum of a finite speed of propagation is observed graphically for each field.

Scarcity of raw material, unpredictable delay in transportation from foreign suppliers, non-availability of affordable skilled labor, changing customer demand has completely transformed the electric goods industries. The research paper aims to the analysis of light fastness of inkjet printed textile products to the artificial light. The artificial light used here is a xenon arc lamp and two polyester substrate having different screen counts is selected. The higher screen count shows less color variation to the artificial light as compared to the color variation on less thread count substrate. The ink used for inkjet printing is locally made at Flashjet inks, Chennai and the cost is less. The artificial lights are rich in various ranges of electromagnetic spectrum especially in ultra violet region. Various researches show the UV light is responsible for 50 % light fastness, 25% by heat and 25% by normal light rays. In this research, Yellow color shows higher color variation. The solid patch color variation is higher than the tint patch color variation. Some research shows higher level multi ink layers have less color variation. The one of the main method to prevent the light fastness is the addition of cationic UV absorbers as the ingredient in the printing ink.

MANETs are Mobile ad hoc networks which comprises of mobile nodes and the host node relies on each other in order to maintain the connectivity of the network. The MANETs are more prone to various issues such as lower data delivery rate, higher delay in data transmission and such issue could ruin the qualitative performance of the network. There is only a possible way to overcome these issues by developing an efficient route creation process. In this work, the author has developed a type-2 FIS based route creation process. The node selection for route creation is done on the basis of the bandwidth, mobility, energy and delay factors of the node. The type-2 FIS system is applied in two different steps one considers the bandwidth and delay as an input and other considers the energy and mobility as an input then the output of the both FIS is fused together to derive a decision regarding the node selection for route creation. The MATLAB platform is used as an simulation platform to implement the proposed work. The results assure that the packet delivery ration of the proposed work is quite higher along with the reduced packet delay ratio.

This article focus on the possibility for the reduction of fading of color due to the photo degradation by the action of UV light present in the sun light. The polyester substrate was printed with prepared inks which contains UV absorbers in different quantity. This research shows the UV absorber shows an important role in the fading of color and reduction of light fastness. The different pigment has different range of light fastness.

VANETs are vehicular ad hoc networks are specifically used to guarantee the road safety by facilitating the communication among road side units such as cars, scooters and vehicles, etc. In VANETs, data cannot be transmitted directly from one vehicle to another vehicle. In this case, a relay node is used to transmit the data. Thus, a vehicle has to select a nearer relay node to send data from one to another. Various authors has developed different mechanism for relay node selection. After having a review to the these traditional techniques, it is observed under this work that the traditional techniques suffers from issue of lowest packet delivery ratio. Thus this study introduces a novel approach for relay node selection in VANETs by using the Particle Swarm Optimization technique, The simulated results proves that the PDR, end-to-end delay and hop counts of proposed work is much efficient than the traditional FD, EPD and BDSC technique.

The tonal value increase in printing denotes the dot gain that should be considered at the time of print quality assessment. That is indirectly connected to other print quality parameters such as solid ink density, print contrast etc. Tonal value increase is higher in middle tone patches of process colors. The TVI can be considered both colorimetrically and densitometrically. The use of two cyan color inks has same tonal value but there will be an apparent hue shift. The densitomeric TVI only consider the process control and colorimetric TVI combines both process control and image appearance. The Densitometric TVI is measured in M3 mode and Colorimetric TVI is based on M0 mode. This research paper shows the densitometric TVI values are higher than the colorimetric TVI. The black color patches shows higher delta TVI and yellow color patches shows lowest delta TVI.

Color appearance model is a mathematical models to predict the image appearance in different lighting and viewing conditions in different media. The CIE colorimetry based on CIE Lab is applicable to the system where the white point is same or no more change. Different color appearance models are developed by considering the different factors such as simultaneous contrast, hue and colorfulness, brightness and lightness, saturation and chroma etc. Each model has their mathematical calculations and their prediction may vary from other models. CIE CAM02 is accepted in overall industry. The image color appearance models shortly known as iCAM is applicable to make the prediction of more complex stimuli in wide variety of color viewing conditions. Psychophysical experimental data is one of the best methods for evaluating the different appearance models. This paper reviews the applicability of different color models for matching the images for cross media color reproduction including print media. After the adoption of CIE LAB, there evolved a plan for finding out the more precise, accurate, comprehensive and exact color appearance models due to the increased interest in the late 1980's and 1990's and the practical applications requiring appearance models has accelerated the works in this area. These great efforts have resulted in the formulation and adoption of CIECAM97s in 1997.

The first color difference equation is developed by CIE (International commission On Illumination) on 1976 known as Delta E 76 or Delta E ab. Here the attributes of colors such as chroma, hue and lightness are considered in equal value or importance. That is perceptibly not suitable to the human eye. Changes in hue can easily identifiable than the changes in lightness. The color measurement committee of the society of Dyers and Colorists of Great Britain developed a new color difference equation based on the weightage for lightness and chroma difference. In 1995, CIE developed Delta E 94 where hue, chroma and lightness are specially considered by giving weightage and it gives better results. Finally most accurate color difference equation Delta E00 introduced which corrects inaccuracy in the calculation of lightness in Delta E94. This paper shows the Delta E ab or E 76 higher color differences than the other Delta E equation based color differences. The variation in Delta E 94 and Delta E 00 is very less due to the inaccurate calculation of lightness in Delta E 94. Delta E CMC l:c shows good acceptability based on the human visual perception and used in the textile industries. The ISO technical committee TC 130 accepted the Delta E2000 for color difference analysis for ISO 12647 based offset printing. Delta E 2000 will be the new industry standard by replacing the Delta E ab for color difference analysis.

In this paper, the vibrations of a piezoelectric functionally graded material (FGM) beam have been analyzed in a thermal field under various boundary conditions and a harmonic moving force. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, governing equations of piezoelectric FGM beam dynamics under a thermal field and various boundary conditions were obtained using the Euler-Bernoulli Theory. Furthermore, results were analyzed using Differential Quadrature numerical method, through which various boundary conditions, including double-fixed, fixed-pinned, pinned-fixed and double-pinned were obtained. In addition, properties of the functionally graded composite material were assumed as a function of beam thickness. Results indicated that increasing the volume fraction of functionally graded materials causes an increase in beam displacement. It was also observed that all-steel beams underwent larger displacements, compared to all-ceramic beams. Additionally, the piezoelectric effect reduced system displacement by causing an increase in the stiffness matrix in the governing equation. Results also showed that higher temperature variations caused larger system drifts. On the other hand, increasing force velocity lead to a higher resulting stress, and consequently, larger beam displacements. Moreover, it was deduced that beam displacement is directly correlated to the beam length parameter, such that larger beam spans result in larger system displacements. Reducing the volume fraction of functional material causes an upsurge in the moving force critical velocity. On the other hand, temperature variations are associated with smaller critical velocities of moving forces and the occurrence of critical velocities at smaller amounts. However, piezoelectricity results in higher critical velocities of the moving force; and therefore, critical velocity will occur at higher amounts. Double-pinned boundary conditions resulted in larger displacements, in comparison to other boundary conditions. Changing the boundary conditions resulted in different amounts of displacement; through which higher system stiffness, and hence, smaller system drifts could be achieved.

In this study choosing an interval of Mond and Aghaj River, some hydrologic and hydraulic flood routing methods Such as Muskingum, Modified Att-Kin, Kinematic Wave, Diffusion Wave and Dynamic Wave Model are investigated. Also, complete studies were done on flood plain and flood flow through Mike11 and Excel program. Then validation of each model's result was performed using statistical measures. Finally the best method for flood routing was proposed. Results show that Muskingumcorrelation coefficient method best accommodates to observational flood results and provides the least error in predicting flood hydrograph. Results also showed a significant superiority for dynamic wave model of mike 11 Software. According to the project's results, in the case of hydraulic information determinacy, dynamic wave model of mike 11 Software; and if using hydraulic models (according to historical record of previous floods), Muskingum model on correlation coefficient pattern in simulating flood waves and flood routing in natural streams are recommended.

The effect of compost tea vermicompost, compost, peat and drought stresses on growth of Calendula persica, a factorial experiment in a completely randomized design with two operating composting and drought in three replications. Drought stress level (100% of field capacity as a witness, 50% FC and 75% FC) and composting (including compost tea, vermicompost and compost leaf composts) in three 15, 30 and 45 percent mixed with soil to was. After preparing the seed bed stands, based on experimental treatments compost (compost tea, vermicompost and compost leaf composts) in three 15, 30 and 45 percent and then mixed with the soil in the pots was poured into the same size and seed planting and after emergence and plant establishment, treatments were applied to drought stress. Analysis of variance and mean comparison showed the highest number of leaves under drought stress was 100% and compost 45% with an average 17.66. Most of leaf compost with an average of 100% and 45% respectively 20.16 stressed. The greatest amount of weight with an average of 21.66 in drought stress was 100% and 45% compost. The highest amount of root weight with an average of 8.01 under drought stress was 100% and 45% compost. The highest number of goals with an average of 11 under drought stress were 100% and 45% compost. The highest number of shoot with an average of 10% and 75% under drought stress 100 and compost 45% and 30% respectively. Most of the origins with an average of 3.33 under drought stress were 100% and 45% compost. So it can be concluded that vermicompost fertilizer compared with other fertilizers and growth characteristics of plants and flowers to increase dramatically.

In this study, artificial neural network modeling of a reverse osmosis membrane system for concentrating the sugar syrup was investigated. For this purpose, data from a pilot was used for this modeling. Network input parameters included feed temperature, feed pressure and feed brix degree and the output of the network was the brix degree of concentrated stream. The selective network structure was considered multi-layer perceptron with the back propagation algorithm. Transfer function in the hidden and output layers and the number of neurons in the hidden layers were optimized to assess the model accuracy. The transfer functions “logsig” and “purelin” were used in the hidden and output layer respectively. The optimum number of neurons in the hidden layer was 14. Two-thirds of the data set was used for training the networks and the other part was applied for the validation of the ANN models. For analyzing the accuracy of the modeling, mean square error (MSE) and correlation coefficient) R2 (were used. The values of the presented indexes are 0.00017 and 0.983 respectively. The comparison between the experimental values and the ANN predicted results showed good agreement, which implied that the adopted models are suitable for correctly predicting extraction yield.

The surface electroencephalogram (EEG) is the electrical activity of the brain obtained by scalp electrodes. When eyes move, the electrical field around them changes and produces an electrical signal known as EOG. As this signal propagates over the scalp, it appears on the recorded EEG as noise or artifacts that should be removed in order to cancel its interpretation with background EEG. Because the magnitude of the EOG artifact is usually about the order of the amplitude of EEG signal, removing this artifact is one of the most important problems in studying the brain activities.

For different testing agencies it is tedious job for them to find acceptable difficulty index of all different question papers which are floated in multiple shifts for testing same attribute of applicants. Several statistical procedures have been reported in literature over last few decades for investigating difficulty index of multiple question papers. In this paper some new methods for computing difficulty index are proposed and procedures laid down to develop final normalized scores of applicants for comparison purpose.
