This article is taken from research that was conducted with the purpose of investigating the influencing factors on the tendency of the youth to eat fast food in Herat city. In this research, a quantitative method has been used. The research has been conducted in Herat city, and the participants in this research are the young people of Herat city. The statistical sample of this research is composed of 384 young individuals who were selected by a probability random sampling method. The questionnaire was used to collect the raw data as a data collection tool, consisting of 25 items in the form of six indicators. The data analysis tool for this research was SPSS software. The findings of this research indicate that factors such as the taste of fast foods, healthy foods, the environment and facilities available in fast foods, and other factors such as being with friends and family and their popularity play an effective role in the tendency of youths to eat fast food in Herat city.
