The present study was undertaken to know farm level value addition by farmers and constraints in value addition and marketing of sugarcane in Hoshiarpur district of Punjab. Multistage sampling was used for the selection of farmers’ respondents. Primary data were collected. Total 80 farmers were selected randomly from two tehsils. Results of the study revealed that the majority (98.75 per cent) of the farmers was aware of farm level value addition practices and (37.50 per cent) were producing organic (jaggary) products. A statistically significant difference (p=0.031) was found in the association between small, medium, and large farmers and value addition practices. Lack of experience followed by lack of group membership and household size were major constraints faced by farmers in value addition. Lack of processing industries was found major constraint faced by farmers while marketing sugarcane followed by delays in payment.
