It is the role of organization development(OD) for the function of the organization. Considering the school as an organization, OD is responsible to develop and progress the school. In fact, OD has brought productivity and efficiency to the school organization. However, this paper will explore how the element of organization development empowers the school to be progressive by focusing on five elements such as people, goal setting, staff development, restructuring and change management. To expound the essence of five elements, the author utilizes the five progressive schools in this paper.
