Psychological well-being is a multidimensional construct reflecting an individual’s mental health, life satisfaction, and capacity to function effectively. This study examines the combined and independent influences of emotional intelligence, self-esteem, and the family environment on psychological well-being among young adults. Drawing on positive psychology and ecological systems theory, it explores how internal attributes (emotional intelligence & self-esteem) and external conditions (family support & cohesion) interact. Findings suggest that a nurturing, low-conflict family setting enhances both self-esteem and emotional regulation, indirectly fostering well-being. The results support integrative models of mental health and offer actionable insights for educators, counselors, and policymakers.
