In India, textiles are widely utilized for a variety of purposes, including clothing, gifts, and household items. These textiles are often made using embroidery, a traditional technique. Several techniques are used to transfer the embroidered pattern to the cloth. Most of embroidery is worked by the hand; some embroidery has to be worked on a tight fabric stretched on a frame. The Phulkari embroidery is also done by both techniques i.e. hand and machine technique. Women in Punjab are making a significant amount of money directly from consumers and store owners by engaging in this practice. The rural women of Punjab’s villages received training demonstrations on phulkari embroidery, which helped them adopt the ancient Phulkari embroidery craft and also helped to raise their family’s income. In the current study, rural women from gangway villages received instruction, and thereafter, their opinions were determined. The respondents’ attitudes were shown to be supportive of the instruction given to them. They learned new techniques for creating these kinds of articles and had the utmost respect for the instructor. This instruction helped them learn new concepts, methods for enhancing the surface of their items, and a way to employ phulkari needlework to generate cash.
