Traditionally Newspaper has always been known for its urban centric approach because generation of news, production of news and even circulation of news take place only in the cities. It is since less than two decades that newspapers which were earlier published from state capitals have started publishing from district capitals, hence reaching to the villages. Thanks to the economic liberalization which was timely coupled with revolution in information technology that facilitated the expansion of media. But TV was ahead of the Newspaper in welcoming the media haves into its net. Newspaper has only joined hands with TV to make them media literates.
