Micro, small, and medium-sized businesses are essential to the growth of the Indian economy. They boost the economy by generating employment. Opportunities, encouraging entrepreneurship, producing revenue, and stimulating creativity. In addition to raising GDP, encouraging women’s economic engagement empowers women, advances gender equality, and creates job opportunities and economic growth across a range of industries. Entrepreneurs are essential to the economic success of any country in the highly competitive world of today. Males have always dominated entrepreneurial activity and entrepreneurship. But in the age of digital technology, women are more conscious and more capable. They are now able to enter this male-dominated field, thanks to educational facilities. Women now play a significant role in the economic advancement of their countries. But this social change is far from over, and women entrepreneurs still encounter challenges both when they first launch their businesses and when they are operating them. They now play a significant role in maintaining social progress and economic expansion on a global scale. Nonetheless, government initiatives and regulations supporting women-owned MSMES have increased the number of women-owned businesses in all MSMEs, but have not achieved the expected level of success. Hence, an effort is made to pinpoint the difficulties these female entrepreneurs encounter are covered in this study. The type of data used in the study was entirely derived from secondary sources. We employed descriptive research for the suggested study. The state of Indian women entrepreneurs was examined in the study.
