The objective of the current study was to identify the level of gamophobia and its relationship with future anxiety among a sample of unmarried women in Jordan. 307 unmarried women participated in the study. The researcher used two scales: Gamophobia Scale developed by Ossai and Chujor (2023) and Future Anxiety Scale developed by Zbigniew et al. (2017) after ensuring their psychometric properties. The results of the study indicated that both gamophobia and future anxiety levels were moderate. Regarding demographic variables, the results revealed no significant differences in gamophobia and future anxiety based on educational qualifications or employment status. However, participants aged 40 and above scored higher on both scales. The study results demonstrated a positive relationship between gamophobia and future anxiety. In light of these results, the researcher emphasizes the urgent need to develop guidance programs aimed at enhancing the skills of unmarried women experiencing delayed marriage.
