This study examines the role of gamification in employee training and development within the field of industrial psychology. The research evaluates its impact on employee engagement, skill enhancement, motivation, and knowledge retention. A qualitative approach employing an interpretivism philosophy was utilised, drawing insights from secondary academic sources and industry reports. Findings suggest that gamification significantly enhances engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes while fostering teamwork and collaboration. However, challenges in implementation highlighted the need for strategic frameworks to optimise gamified training programs. The study underscores gamification’s potential for transforming traditional workplace learning.
