The present study examined the relationship between emotional intelligence and humor styles. Participants included 100 scientists working in agricultural research institutes in Hyderabad. ANOVA was used to ascertain the variance in the humor styles of scientists. Correlational Coefficient was computed to understand the relationship between emotional intelligence and humor styles. The results of ANOVA showed significant variance in the humor styles of scientists. The correlation coefficient revealed that emotional intelligence is positively associated with affiliative and self-enhancing humor. Further, an inverse relationship was noticed between emotional intelligence and aggressive humor.
