Sex is an integral part of health and life yet it is so taboo in India. The study investigates demographic differences in attitudes toward premarital sexual activities among young Indian University Students. The Youth Sexual Intention Questionnaire (YSI-Q) (Muhammad, 2017) was used to assess these attitudes. The results show significant differences in sexual intention, permissive attitudes, social norms, and self-efficacy among different groups and no significant differences across genders, religions, or socio-economic status. The results are indicative of more acceptance among university students and normalization of sex.
