To compare cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance in obsessive-compulsive disorder. The current study focused to examine these two constructs in participants with obsessive-compulsive disorder. A total of 50 participants (N=50) were taken up for the study. The division included 25 participants in obsessive-compulsive disorder group (n=25) and 25 were the healthy controls (n=25) falling in 20-45 years of age. The participants were taken from several Psychiatric hospitals of the Punjab region. A contrast was made between cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance using Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire-28 and Brief experiential avoidance Questionnaire-15. After that SPSS version 23 was used and independent sample t-test was performed. Results show that cognitive fusion and experiential avoidance were higher in obsessive-compulsive disorder group.
