Through improved market access and financial solutions, they empower smallholder farmers. These startups offered several solutions such as lowering post-harvest losses, enhancing market accessibility and encouraging environment friendly farming methods. It highlights the difficulties that agri-startups encounter, such as restricted financial resources, intricate regulations and technology limitations that impede their expansion. It also examines potential future paths for agri-startups, such as incorporating cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT), with a particular emphasis on sustainability and cooperation with farmers. Agri-startups are important for agricultural sector transformation and imposing rural economy. These startups have the potential to empower the farmers and to address the various problems. Agri-startups provide livelihoods and employment opportunities also. This paper provides an overview of agri-startups in India, future possibilities, roles and challenges.
