Objective of this review paper is to discuss about various types of paper used in packaging industry, different types of paper having different types of properties, applications which varies according to their end use requirements. In packaging industry various kinds of paper are used which includes Tissues, Greaseproof, Glassine, Vegetable parchment, Label paper, Bag papers, Sack Kraft, Impregnated papers, Laminating papers , Asphalt paper, Kraft liner, Wet strength paper, Gray chip, Test liner, VCI paper (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor).
