A review on the substituted and abrogated verses in Holy Qur’an and their Wisdom

Almighty Allah has revealed Holy Quran to direct the humankind during 23 years and abrogated few verses according to the changes in time, situations, human states of mind, and many other judgments. Almighty god has substituted few other verses as almighty Allah says: “We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that we bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it” (Al-Baqarah, 106). The issue of the permissibility and non-permissibility of the obsolete from the very beginning was controversial among the followers of Judaism and Islam, some of them take it as divulge but some other separate the obsolete from divulge and permit the obsolete.
