During the adolescents’ period, youngsters are influenced by their peer group and in order to avoid social exclusion they are likely to indulge in risky behaviours’. The millennials are unable to evaluate the repercussions of their frivolous acts. The main purpose of this study is to provide a systematic review of literature on the major risky behaviour prevalent among youth i.e.suicidal ideations, drug abuse, road traffic injuries and sexual behaviour. The results highlighted the adversarial influence of risky behaviour on adolescents’ mental health.Explicit implications are drawn for professionals dealing with youth psychological well- being.
