The present study was aimed to study the effect of the herb Shankhapushpi on dementia rating. The study was conducted with employing a two group design on 44 patients suffering from dementia. The experimental group received Shankhapushpi for a duration of two months. Dementia Rating Scale-II by Steven Mattis was used as a tool to assess the dementia rating. The findings of the study supported the hypothesis.
