Availability of Electronic Contents/Resources and Role of Libraries in Managing, Organizing and Accessing

Now-a-days, the availability of electronic resources is in its pinnacle stage and access in the public domain on nominal/subsidized price. In fact, under budgeted libraries are also being participated in rapidly technological changing world due to availability of unlimited electronic contents in the market. The government of India, stakeholders, and others academic industries have been realized that to cater to the need of the modern users, the libraries have to be modernized and well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities along with electronic contents databases. To achieve the same, numerous remedial steps have been taken to generate electronic contents which shall lead to change the traditions, orientation and rituals of any society, organization and industry. The present paper will try to unveil the Government of India, Stakeholders, and Academic Institutions efforts in respect to develop more and more electronic resources and contents so that these may be accessible to all.
