The increase in psychological demands of modern IT work highlight the need for brief tools that capture motivational dynamics among professionals in the technology sector. Introduction of the present study validates the Techno-Motivation Scale for IT Professional (TMS-IT). A theoretically grounded, psychometric robust scale developed to measure internal motivational drivers among IT professionals. TMS identifies some core dimensions grouped into seven domains. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were conducted on data, collected from 150 IT professionals currently employed in Kolkata. The TMS-IT offers researchers and practitioners a framework to assess internal motivational states and enhance personalized performance interventions in high-tech environments.
