Today, excessive or poorly controlled obsessions, desires, or behaviors related to Internet use that cause substantial suffering or functional impairment are considered to be the hallmarks of Internet addiction, a behavioural illness. Adolescence is the age when people are most prone to psychological issues. The present study aimed to assess the level of Internet use among teenage students. 100 pupils (50 boys & 50 girls) were selected from various schools in Varanasi city. The sample’s age ranged between 15 and 19 years. Data was collected using the Pathological Internet Use Scale developed by Asthana and Verma (2019). The results demonstrated that the sample’s internet usage was within typical limits. Gender differences were not significant in all dimensions or overall scores.
