The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 are critical in pushing India’s education system modernization. The general vision and concepts are provided by NEP 2020, while particular recommendations for curriculum creation, pedagogy, and evaluation are provided by NCF 2023. This alignment guarantees that educational practices are cohesive and coordinated. NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 place a premium on learner-centered education, holistic development, inclusive practices, transdisciplinary learning, and technology integration. This study serves as an initial evaluation of policy documents, laying the groundwork for future research to analyze the effects of the National Education Policy (NEP) and National Curriculum Framework (NCF) once implemented. It provides a preliminary assessment that will serve as a foundation for further investigations into the impact and outcomes of the NEP. The psychological pillars of cognitive development, socio-emotional development, individual differences, motivation and engagement, well-being and mental health, learner autonomy, resilience and self-regulation, mindfulness, cultural sensitivity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity and innovation, collaboration and teamwork, holistic lifelong learning, transdisciplinary skills, personality and character development are essential for bridging NE. By accepting these pillars, the educational system may promote students’ overall growth and prepare them for the challenges and possibilities of the future. The effective adoption of these psychological pillars will lead to a quality education system that emphasizes individual needs, inclusiveness, and lifelong learning, eventually allowing students to contribute significantly to society. The alignment between NEP 2020 and NCF 2023 ensures these transformative goals are effectively and seamlessly achieved.
