Well-being is an important goal of human life. Well-being as an index of individuals’ happiness and serenity in life may be influenced by the classroom environment. A classroom with openness, flexibility, collaboration, and supportiveness might be a causative factor in students’ positive well-being. However, in a classroom where an authoritative, teacher-dominated environment exists, students may not feel secure and happy. To study whether classroom climate and gender, individually and in combination, influence students’ well-being, data were collected from 296 students of Classes IX and X studying in government and private schools. The findings revealed that a positive classroom climate was linked with higher levels of students’ well-being, while boys exhibited higher levels of well-being than girls.
