Well-being is characterized not solely by the absence of mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, and depression, but also by the presence of positive psychological signs such perseverance, optimism, and happiness. This study looks at how well-being is connected to grit and self-efficacy in Indian adolescents. While earlier research has found relationship between these variables, there was a requirement for more research to be undertaken in the Indian context. So, this study aimed to explore how these three factors relate to each other in adolescents from different socioeconomic backgrounds in India. The study found positive relationships between all of the study variables except between Engagement and Grit. Further, the dimension of Engagement indicated significant gender differences among adolescents. Overall, the outcomes of the study could be beneficial to school psychologists, counsellors, and teachers in improving the well-being of students.
