The present paper reviews on acoustic and vibration sources for voices for noise control. Typical acoustic sources include loudspeakers and horn drivers in noise control. Vibration sources are used sometimes to control the vibration of surfaces which are radiating the unwanted sound. The yypical vibration actuators are piezoelectric patches, piezoelectric stacks, magnetostrictive actuators, electrodynamic shakers, inertial shakers, electromagnetic actuators, hydraulic and pneumatic shakers.
