Ink lay down sequence is a crucial aspect from technical perspective during printing which affects the print quality. The sequence of colors is very important for the print quality in the Sheet-fed Offset. This research paper delineated the variation in the print contrast of colors due to variation of different ink sequences. Although CMYK and KCMY are the standardized sequences for offset lithography but there are possibilities of printing by five different color sequences namely CMYK, MYCK, YMCK, KCMY and KYMC. To identify the effect of ink sequence in Sheet-fed Offset print quality, prepared a master and done printing in the local printing press of repute. After printing on Art and Map litho paper the result was analyzed.
