The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between the effectiveness of employee training and the perception of increased performance of employees who worked in a financial organization in the Western Caribbean. With the use of convenience sampling, a total of 100 employees were selected and participated in the current study. A self-administered questionnaire in terms of an online survey was used to collect data in terms of participants’ perception of training effectiveness and the participants’ perception of their performance. Data was analyzed using SPSS statistical package with the use of Pearson’s r correlation analysis. Pearson’s r correlation was used to determine the relationship between the variables: Effectiveness of employee training and perception of increased performance of employees. The findings of the study found that there is a significant and positive relationship exists between effectiveness of employee training and perception of increased performance of employees who worked in a financial organization in the Western Caribbean, r(100) = 0.796, p < .01.
