This paper examines the relationship between self-esteem and subjective well-being (SWB) among adolescents, utilizing a sample of 300 individuals aged 12 to 18 from various educational institutions. Employing a quantitative research methodology, the study utilizes the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale and the Diener’s Satisfaction with Life Scale, complemented by the Positive and Negative Affect Schedule to measure SWB. Multiple regression analysis reveals that self-esteem significantly predicts life satisfaction, positive affect, and negative affect among adolescents. These findings suggest that targeted self-esteem interventions may improve the overall well-being of adolescents, highlighting the potential for educational systems to incorporate self-esteem enhancing programs.
