The movement of young minds, their ideas, skills, and assets from one geographical region to another is increasing tremendously. This movement of young minds has a major impact on their well-being. There is a huge discussion on the outcome migration brings, but there is lesser analysis of the reasons that cause the movement. The success of any nation lies in youth, however present youth is struggling with the lack of quality education and limited resources, ultimately resulting in movement from one geographical region to another. This paper reviews the causes of migration among the young population for education in various research engines from 2000 to 2025. The review indicates that the focus of research studies is more on the outcome of education migration and less on a deeper understanding of the reasons for migration. The main causes of student’s migration were identified after review are lack of educational resources, urbanization and educational facilities, marital pressure, lack of security and political instability and employment opportunities. And major problem faced by students are these. This paper suggests that government initiatives are required to make policies and programs for migrant students. Balanced growth of cities and states and building opportunities in underdeveloped cities and villages are a must so that this movement may reduce in number.
