The concept of social security is interpreted in different ways in various countries. Social security schemes are meant to render social assistance and insurance against various insecurities such as hunger, sickness, old age, unemployment, etc. In the modern era of the society these social security schemes are applicable to the weaker sections of the society. There is a high need for such programs in India because the majority of people are working in unorganised sector which does not provide social security to them. For the present study, two districts namely Hisar and Kaithal are selected to analyse the awareness level about the features among the respondents of social security schemes viz. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana. Further, various constraints were analysed in the effective implementation of these schemes using a five-point Likert scale which has been discussed below. The result concluded that there was incomplete awareness of all the benefits of these schemes among these respondents.
