In this paper,security features are of secured documents of universities/ Institutions. The universities document includes Degrees/ DMC (Detail Mark Card) and other legal documents. Security features are very important for documents of university and educational institution. This article gives information about security features and their classification according to application criteria involved at printing technique, designing software, different security inks and security substrate. Some security features are intended to allow visual identification of counterfeits by the general public; others are to be machine readable and are designed for machines and governmental inspection. As Digital Technology continues to improve, the quality of those features will become nearly indistinguishable from Intaglio Printing, Offset printing and Holograms. In today’s digital world, securing different forms of content is very important in terms of protecting copyright and verifying authenticity.
