The present study carried out the objectives was to find out the difference between boys and girls in their study habits, to find out the difference between government and private students in their study habits, to find out the difference between boys and girls in their achievement, to find out the difference between government and private students in their achievement, to find out the relationship between study habits and achievement in secondary level students. For the present study Descriptive survey method was adopted. Stratified Random Sampling Technique was used for the present study. From the study it was revealed that study habits play an important role in the achievement of the students. From the findings, it was revealed that, there is no significant difference between boys and girls, between government and private secondary level students. There is significant difference in achievement in secondary level subjects of boys and girls, private and government school students. There is a relationship between study habits and achievement in secondary level subjects.
