Spirituality and religion have been strong variables influencing physical and mental health. Research has shown strong connections between spirituality and overall health. Research and clinical evidence have shown positive associations among health, spirituality, and happiness (Paranje, 1986; Kirmani, 2016). Spirituality relates to meaning and purpose in life and one’s connection with transcendent power (Bhawuk, 2011). Happiness refers to preponderance of positive emotions and overall life satisfaction (Ryan & Deci, 2001). The aim of the current research was to a) examine spirituality among adults b) Examine Happiness among adults and c) examine the relationship between spirituality and happiness. The measures used were a) Spiritual Personality Inventory (Husain, Luqman, & Jahan, 2012) to examine spirituality b) Happiness Scale (Kirmani & Husain, 2016) to examine happiness. and c) Socio-demographic data sheet to take socio-demographic variables. A sample of 100 adults between the age of 18 to 45 years was selected using a convenient sampling method. After having sought written permission from the participants, the data was collected online using Google Forms. Descriptive statistics like mean and SD and Pearson correlation was used to examine the relationship between spirituality and happiness. The findings of the current investigation revealed a significant positive correlation between spirituality and happiness. The current research highlights the need for incorporating spirituality in various counseling and therapeutic interventions for increasing happiness among the adult population. The research has health implications too.
