The aim of this study was to determine the role of age and gender in prosocial behavior of adults. The sample comprised of total 120 adults. For this study, three age groups (young adults, middle adults, & late adults) were chosen. Further in each group there were 20 males and 20 females. To assess prosocial behavior, self-constructed prosocial behavior scale was used. Mean, ANOVA, and multiple comparison tests (Tukey test) were used to evaluate the data. The result indicates that age is significant at .01 level and gender is also significant at .05 level. On the basis of results, it can be said that age and gender significantly affect the prosocial behavior of adults.
