Printing and Packaging industry utilizes paper and paper boards to prepare packages for various products. The recycled fiber is a secondary raw material for producing paper and paper boards to be utilized in packaging. The fibers get degraded in each cycle of recycling and after 4-6 cycles of recycling the fibers get too short to make a paper. Manufacturing of paper itself emits a lot of VOC and then printing of paper with offset lithography, gravure and flexography adds up in the emission. Land filling of organic material has no future, most organic material requires burning of material to reduce its volume. This uses heat value and contributes to self supporting incineration.
