The demanding nature of the teaching profession poses unique challenges to the psychological well-being and mental health of educators. The study sought to comprehensively explore differences in Psychological Well-Being and Mental Health between school teachers and university professors. Utilizing a sample of 120 educators from Jaipur city, evenly distributed between the two categories, the study employed established measures and statistical analyses. Results indicated a marginal difference in mean Psychological Well-Being scores (M=21.60), with university professors scoring slightly higher (M=22.10), but no statistically significant difference was observed (t=1.06). Similarly, no notable difference was observed in mental health scores between the two categories (t=1.02). These findings align with previous studies and suggest that within the specified parameters, there is no substantial difference in the mental well-being of educators. The study underscores the importance of addressing educators’ mental health needs and implementing proactive measures to support their well-being in educational settings. Prioritizing educators’ well-being can create healthier educational environments, benefiting the entire educational community.
