The present study investigates psychological capital as a predictor of academic engagement and academic motivation among college students in a stratified random sample of 300 college students of Punjab. Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ) by Luthans et al. (2007); Academic Engagement Scale by Skinner et al. (2009); and Academic Motivation Scale (AMS-C28) College (CEGEP) version by Vallerand et al. (1992) were used for the purpose of the data collection. The results of the present study revealed that there was a positive and significant relationship of psychological capital with academic engagement and academic motivation among college students. Also psychological capital emerged as a positive and significant predictor of academic engagement and academic motivation among college students. Implications of these results are discussed.
