The current study examined the relationships between gratitude, mindfulness, and marital adjustment among married couples and identified significant predictors of marital adjustment. The study data were collected from 200 married individuals (97 males, 103 females) residing in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kerala, via an online survey. Tools used were the Philadelphia Mindfulness Scale (Cardaciotto et al., 2008), the Gratitude Questionnaire-6 (GQ-6) (McCullough et al., 2002), and the Revised Dyadic Adjustment Scale (RDAS) (Busby et al., 1995). The collected data were analysed using statistical analyses, including Pearson correlation coefficients to examine relationships among variables and stepwise regression to identify predictors of marital adjustment. The findings indicated a significant positive relationship between gratitude, mindfulness, and marital adjustment. The study also found that both gratitude and mindfulness emerged as significant predictors of marital adjustment among married couples with 12.5% of variance.
