This study was aimed to find the overall activity (physical, psychological, & social) among the older adults residing in Trichy district, using a sample of 60 respondents. Utilizing an Activity Scale that measures these three dimensions, the research explores how different types of activities contribute to overall health and quality of life. The study aims to evaluate the relationship between physical exercise, social engagement, psychological stimulation, and their combined effects on the overall well-being of older adults. descriptive research design was used. The Data were collected through a structured questionnaire assessing physical activity, social engagement, psychological activities, and overall activity levels. The sample consisted of 60 older adults residing in Trichy District. Findings indicate that regular physical activity significantly enhances both physical health and psychological well-being. Social engagement is linked to reduced stress, improved mood, and better cognitive function. Activities providing psychological stimulation are associated with increased self-esteem and a lower risk of cognitive decline. Overall, a balanced engagement in physical, social, and psychological activities correlates with improved quality of life. The study underscores the importance of a holistic approach to activity for older adults. Integrated programs that promote physical exercise, social interactions, and mental stimulation are crucial for enhancing overall well-being. Future research should focus on addressing barriers to activity and tailoring interventions to maximize benefits for older populations.
