Parent-child relationship is a unique bond which affects the strength of physical, social, emotional and mental health of each individual. Each parenting style influences a child’s development and learning phase throughout his or her life. Literature reviews suggest that it also contributes to the well-being of that person. The purpose of the research was to examine the role of parental bonding and parenting style on psychological well-being among youth. A quantitative cross-sectional web-based research design was adopted. The sample of this study comprised of 100 participants selected from different parts of Kerala, whose age varies from 18 to 25 years. The tools used for the study in addition to socio-demographic data are Parental Bonding Instrument and Ryff’s Psychological Well-being Scale. Data collection was done online and the result was analysed using SPSS where the data was subjected to Correlation. Results in the present study indicated that there is no significant relationship between Parenting and Psychological Well-being among Youth. Since there are many other factors that would contribute to the well-being of a person, future researches should focus more on that. Parenting styles and psychological well-being are significant variables which should be explored more through further researches.
