
Organizational commitment and union commitment in public bank employees: A correlation study

The study was intended to examine the relationship between organizational commitment (OC) and union commitment (UC) among public bank employees. A total of 180 clerical level employees were personally given OC scale by Allen and Meyer (1990) along with UC Questionnaire for the purpose of finding out the relationship between these variables. Obtained results in our study in the light of OC and UC as cause and effect relationship showed no significant relationship between these two variables.
