This study aimed to measure and compare the dietary intake and anthropometric measurements of women aged 18-25 years from rural and urban areas of Hisar and Fatehabad districts in Haryana, India. A total of 1000 women were selected, with 250 women each from urban and rural areas of both districts. Data on protein, fat, carbohydrate, and energy intake were collected and analyzed using t-tests to determine area-wise and district-wide differences. Anthropometric dimensions were also measured in both sitting and standing positions. Results indicated significant differences in nutrient consumption between rural and urban women across the districts. While rural women in Hisar were found to have the highest protein and energy intake, urban Fatehabad women reported the highest fat consumption. All women were found to have an energy intake deficit of 29.20 percent to 38.96 percent below the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA). Anthropometric measurements revealed significant variation, emphasizing the diversity in body structure. These results highlight the need for targeted dietary interventions.
