This digital era has seen a boom in usage of the internet; this, on the flip side, has caused an increase in the rates of cybercrime. Cyber-victimisation can undermine a person’s mental health, academic self-efficacy, and overall performance. However, in this case, resilience can act as a buffer and the present study examined the relationship between cyber-victimisation, academic self-efficacy, and resilience among college students. Data was collected from 317 female participants from South India, and multiple linear regression was computed and interpreted. The results showed that cyber-victimisation negatively predicted academic self-efficacy, while resilience did not show any significance. The negative effect that cyber-victimisation has on students’ academics sheds light on the challenges faced by the pervasive issue and calls for measures against it.
