Mindfulness-based Management Programs (MBIs) have gained considerable attention in the recent era of innovation for their capability to address multiple psychological and behavioral issues without any adverse impact. This literature survey aims to look into the evidence supporting the effectiveness of Mindfulness-based strategies as interventions in clinical, non-clinical, and educational settings. We systematically reviewed the studies from 2012 to 2024 about the implication of a mindfulness-based approach on behavioral problems and aggression; 25 studies met the inclusion criteria. Studies were identified in PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and WoS making use of keywords including ‘mindfulness intervention’, ‘mindfulness meditation’, ‘behavioral problems’, ‘conduct disorder’, ‘ADHD’, and ’empirical research’. We reviewed 25 articles that are based on mindfulness as an intervention for behavioral problems, aggression, and associated psychological issues. The results suggest that mindfulness effectively reduces externalized and internalized behavioral problems, impulsiveness, aggression, and attention-related problems and increases emotional regulation and mental health. Results of a detailed literature survey in the concerned field suggest that mindfulness programs are promising strategies for the treatment of behavioral problems. Because mindfulness-based programs work well in various structured protocols of therapy for different psychological issues. It is recommended that mindfulness can be utilized in both therapeutic and educational contexts.
