The present research is based on scale construction for Midlife crisis which is one of the emergent areas of research in the field of psychology, sociology, social work and other social sciences. As very few researches are conducted in the present field especially in India and concerning the psychological, Psycho-social and allied health, the researcher intended to develop the current Midlife crisis scale. In this scale the researcher included most of the components such as Self-Confidence, Self-Identity, Life Choices, Lifestyle, Mortality Awareness, Affective, Sexual, Accomplishments, Change in Lifestyle and Past Decisions, Depression, Stress and Coping and Anxiety Domain. Containing these components, the present scale definitely will help the diagnostic professional, researchers and psychologist to identify various issues of adults with midlife crisis and will also help to design effective intervention strategies for the management of midlife crisis among the adults between the age of 35 to 60 years of old.
