Testing difficulty level in multiple sets of question papers on Multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ) is a great challenge even today. For different testing agencies it is tedious job for them to find acceptable difficulty index of all different question papers which are floated in multiple shifts for testing same attribute of applicants. Several statistical procedures have been reported in literature over last few decades for investigating difficulty index of multiple question papers. In this paper some new methods for computing difficulty index are proposed and procedures laid down to develop final normalized scores of applicants for comparison purpose.
