The present study was conducted to study the marketing practices and opinions of dairy farmers and risk analysis of dairy farmers in Punjab in the year 2022-23. A total of 120 farmers were selected from two districts of Punjab; namely Hoshiarpur and SBS Nagar. Two blocks from each district were selected. The primary data was collected with the help of a pre-structured and pre-tested questionnaire. Multistage sampling technique was used to select the respondents. Descriptive statistics such; as frequency, mean, one-sample t-test, ANOVA, and logistic regression were used for analysis of the collected data. The results of the study revealed that the highest mean score (4.37) was observed with (p<0.001) to poorly organized milk collection centres in the region. Readily availability of vaccination (mean score 4.34) was an important risk management strategy followed by the dairy farmers. Education was the important variable impacting marketing practices (p= 0.040). Fluctuation in feed prices and lack of marketing facilities was found to be an important risk in the dairy in the study area.
