Marriage is the most significant commitment that an individual makes in his/her life. Being the most intimate relationship between two persons in their life time, a good marriage not only leads to a happy and contented life, but also generates a sense of well- being. Further, a happy and well adjusted marital life is the firm basis upon which a stable family is built. In view of the significance of the above, the present study was an attempt to understand marital adjustment and psychological well- being among dual- employed couples. The wives had better marital adjustment than their husbands, whereas, the husbands showed better efficiency and mental health.
