The increasing growth of urbanisation in developing countries, associated with affordable and sustainable housing inadequacies, may hinder the realisation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study investigated Namibia’s low-income housing (LIH) delivery strategies towards the achievement of SDG 11 and its targets using thematic analysis. Qualitative primary data were collected from key stakeholders of LIH delivery in the Namibian context using face-to-face interviews and focus group discussions. The findings confirm that LIH provision in the Namibian low-income districts is an overarching issue that may hinder the attainment of SDGs: SDG 11 and its targets by 2030. Findings confirm that the Namibian government adopted various strategies in delivering LIH in the CoW to attain SDG 11: land reform and urban planning, government housing programmes, public-private partnerships (PPPs), community-led housing initiatives, housing finance mechanisms, promoting alternative housing models, and capacity building and skills development as the major drivers towards attainment of SDG 11 in the Namibian context. Furthermore, if these strategies are successfully embraced and put into practice, SDG 11 can be achieved. Because SDG 11 and its goals are interconnected with other SDGs, achieving them will strengthen and improve Namibia’s accomplishments of the other SDGs and its targets.
